Thomas M. Scott, Jr. and his wife Viola founded their farm in 1901. With seven children, they farmed a variety of crops, producing their first crop of apples in 1927. Their seven children later became second-generation owners. Today, the third generation owns the farm and raises apples, peaches, corn, soybeans, watermelons, pumpkins, tomatoes, and peppers.
Will Scott is one of three owners at Scott’s Orchard, where Blossomwood is located. Will is responsible for all agritourism operations across the 5th generation, family-owned and operated orchard. Will is always on the hunt for the next new idea that will allow the public to share the beauty that is this century-old orchard.
